About Me

My Approach
I’m a highly qualified and HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologist (PYL27902) with over 10 years of experience providing psychological therapy, supervision, and consultation across both NHS and private settings. My approach to therapy is collaborative, person-centred, and grounded in genuine human connection. I don’t offer surface-level solutions or a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I offer a protected and non-judgemental space where we can take the time to understand your story and work towards the insight, change, or relief you’re seeking - whatever that may look like for you.I specialise in working with adults facing complex life experiences, including relationship difficulties, trauma, anxiety, low mood, and a loss of direction or purpose. Whether you’re living with a diagnosed mental health condition or feeling a more general sense of disconnection, therapy with me is a space to speak freely, reflect honestly, and grow at your own pace.My style is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in over a decade of working with people from all walks of life - from senior professionals such as CEOs, medical consultants, and lawyers, to individuals navigating deeply personal but less visible challenges. Whoever you are, you can expect a confidential, compassionate, and highly professional service tailored to your needs.I draw from a range of evidence-based models including Schema Therapy, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, CBT, ACT, and Narrative Therapy - always used flexibly and thoughtfully to support what feels most useful for you.In addition to therapy, I also offer clinical supervision to Clinical, Counselling, and Forensic Psychologists, both pre- and post-qualification, with a focus on reflective, relational, and integrative practice.
My values
Therapy, at its core, is about human connection - and the safety to be fully seen. My work is grounded in the belief that every person deserves a space that is compassionate, non-judgemental, and genuinely attuned to who they are. I don’t follow a rigid formula or offer surface-level fixes. Instead, I take time to understand your story, your struggles, and what matters most to you. With over a decade of experience in the NHS, I’ve worked with people navigating deep and enduring emotional distress, trauma, and relational difficulties. This experience has taught me the importance of holding complexity with care - and of meeting each person where they are, with warmth, honesty, and respect.I practice from a place of empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. I see therapy as something we do together - not something I do to you. I will never position myself as the expert on your life. Instead, I aim to walk alongside you as you explore what you need, what you want to change, and how you want to grow.I am strongly committed to offering a space that is inclusive and affirming. I welcome clients from all walks of life, and work sensitively with those who may have felt misunderstood or marginalised in other spaces - including those who are LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, in non-monogamous or kink relationships, or navigating experiences outside of conventional social norms. I respect the many different ways people live, love, and make sense of the world.I also understand that reaching out can feel deeply vulnerable. I will do my best to make that process as gentle, respectful, and transparent as possible - from our first contact to every session that follows.Therapy with me is a space where you can bring your full self. A place to explore safely, speak freely, and be met with compassion - not judgment. However heavy or complicated life may feel, you don’t have to carry it alone.
Therapy

Therapy?
People come to therapy for many different reasons. You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, or stuck in a pattern that no longer serves you. Perhaps you’re living with a diagnosed mental health condition, or maybe you’re struggling with a more general sense of dissatisfaction in your life or relationships. Whatever brings you here, therapy can offer the space to explore, reflect, and find a way forward.Therapy can be challenging, and reaching out is often the hardest part. I know how vulnerable it can feel to speak openly about your inner world. That’s why I work to create a safe, empathetic, and non-judgemental space where you can talk freely, at your own pace. What we focus on will be guided by you - whether that’s the past, present, or future. There’s no one-size-fits-all process. Our work together will be shaped by your experiences, your goals, and what feels most meaningful for you.
The process
1. You reach out and contact me by email, send me a message or WhatApp, or complete the contact form on my contact page.2. We schedule an initial telephone consultation to discuss your needs and goals for therapy. This is your chance to get to know me and see if I am someone you can work with. During this call we can book in your first session.3. I will send you a Therapy Agreement which will also ask for your contact details. I will ask that you complete and return this prior to our first session.4.Our first session will take place on Zoom. I will send you the link in advance. You can then pay by bank transfer or payment link within 2 days of each session.5. We continue to meet for regular sessions (weekly or two-weekly) and these will include an ongoing review to ensure that you feel that you are getting what you need from our time together.6. When the time feels right for you (there is no 'minimum sessions' or 'contracted number of sessions'), we can bring our work to a close, ensuring we have a clear ending session to review everything we have worked on together.7. I don't disappear, you are always welcome to get back in touch in the future for one-off sessions, or to re-start or continue our work at a later date.
Individual Therapy
Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or simply not yourself, individual therapy offers a safe and reflective space to explore what’s going on and work towards meaningful change. I’ll support you in understanding your experiences, developing insight, and making choices that feel more aligned with who you are and what you want from life.I offer an affirming space for people of all backgrounds and identities, including those who are LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, in non-traditional relationships, or part of kink or BDSM communities.
